Comes True

Ext. – Forest, late evening
The
sound of fast breathing of Tom to
indicate that he is running. Tom, Zach and Jake try to run away from a psychotic masked killer (Conrad) through woods in the dark
forest as Conrad tries to kill them as revenge on Tom.
TOM
(shouts)
-
Jake! (Tom’s turning around as he is scared of Conrad)
JAKE
(screaming)
-
Aaaarrggghh! No, please! Help!!
Tom doesn’t recognise the voice of Jake
(he is not sure if it’s Jake or Zach) and is really scared. Tom is turning his head to the left and
then back to the right, while Conrad is trying to kill Jake that is running away
and by an unfortunate accident he stumbles on a piece of wood and the psychotic masked
killer (Conrad) is able to get to
him and he can finally kill him with his big knife.
JAKE
(screaming)
-
No!! Aaaahhh!!
Zach doesn’t know what happened
to both of his friends; he gets his phone out and tries to call Tom, but before Tom answers his phone Conrad
gets to Zach and kills him by a series of stabs. Zach drops his
phone and when Tom finally answers
his phone it's too late, Conrad picks
up Zach’s phone and says:
TOM
- Zach? Is that you?
-Is anybody there?
CONRAD
- Zach? Is that you?
-Is anybody there?
CONRAD
(talking through Zach’s phone)
- Zach is unavailable now
- Zach is unavailable now
- and we will finally meet together again
Conrad hangs up the phone and goes to get Tom. When Tom turns back to run away he can see the psychotic killer
appearing just at the front of him and then he wakes up.
Int. – Tom’s bedroom, morning
Tom wakes up hearing his two friends (Zach and Tom) shouting him outside the window wanting to go to the park. Tom realises that it was just a dream as
there is voice over of his voice to represent that we hear his thoughts.
Voice
over – Oh my God, that’s the worst nightmare I ever had.
JAKE
-
Tom! Come down here
ZACH
-
Yeah! We are going to park!
TOM
JAKE
-
Hurry up then, we’re going to meet others!
Tom puts his clothes on and goes to get some snacks
to eat and leaves the house to meet Zach
and Jake that are waiting for
him to go to the park.
Distribution of our film.
First of all we've got our college budget but I suggest that it's not going to be enough so for full film we can ask FDA (Film Distributors' Association) to have a look at our film and to distribute it.

Treatment 2 - 2 minute film

Kubanski, Hadyn Bolt
Title
A Dream Comes True
Length
2 minutes
Target Audience
This film will be a 15 because the
BBFC guidelines fit into what our film is going to show, as we do not show any
sadistic or sexualised violence. Also, we do not show any discrimination,
illegal drugs or nudity. However there is death shown in the 2 minutes of film,
as the psycho kills 2 teenagers and violence is shown, making the film unsuitable
to be rated a 12 or PG, therefore making our film suitable to be a 15
certificate.
we have made our target audience to be 15 – 30 year olds (Mixed gender) aimed at a
national audience, of interest to people who are looking for a scare, appeals
to those who like films such as Friday 13th and Nightmare on Elm
Street.
Synopsis/summary
Do you really want all your dreams to come true?
A psychotic masked killer (Conrad) is seen in a chase sequence (Tom's dream) through a dark
forest, as Conrad pursues 3 college teenagers (Tom, Zach and Jake) in a lucid state
of paranoid bloodlust. Conrad catches up with Zach and Jake and murders them,
using his rage to drive his knife into the teenagers and kill them in cold blood. He slits Zach's throat and Stabs Jake through his chest, piercing his heart.
As the dream ends, someone is heard
screaming as the title of the film appears. As Tom awakes, he is disturbed by
his dream of the slaughtering of his friends and is plagued by his thoughts, as
he plays the dream over in his mind, wondering what it meant. As Tom is
worrying about his nightmare, his two friends are outside shouting him, as they
want to go to the park and hang out. So Tom puts on a brave face, gets ready and leaves the
house to join them outside.
Suggested Elements
Our film will start with being edited , so that the dream sequence looks kind of surreal with blurred edges of the shots, hinting to the audience that there is something unreal about the scene. As Tom wakes up, we will put in an audio track of a voice over of Tom, so that it's like we are hearing Tom's thoughts.

Synopsis/summary
Do you really want
all your dreams to come true?
Tom has a nightmare of him running away from a psychotic masked killer (Conrad), his friends get killed by Conrad (he cuts one’s throat and stabs
another to heart) while running. He wakes up when he sees Conrad’s face
appearing in front of him. His friends wake him up shouting for him outside the
window. They’re going to park to meet up with their other friends. They decide to go
to camp out in a forest far away from home and Conrad hears about their plans
and decides to follow them into the forest. In the forest they are having fun
and party and getting drunk, then Conrad in a mask comes to them, starts to
frighten them with a knife ( a big one drenched in blood), they run away (the
sequence from dream). Tom stays alive as it was in his dream and is running
away from Conrad with a mask on, he finds an abandoned house, accidentally smashing gas pipe as he runs away from Conrad. Tom finds out that the psycho in a mask is his ex friend Conrad, then
Tom’s finds an old colt revolver, shoots Conrad and because of the gas leak, the house blows
up. Everyone is dead and Conrad is not going to hurt anyone else.

As Tom wakes up, we will put in an audio track of a voice over of Tom, so that it's like we are hearing Tom's thoughts.
Near the end of the film in the real chase through the forest, we will edit in flash backs of Tom's dream, as he remembers the event from the beginning of the film. the shots will be edited in quick cuts reverting from the dream to Tom and back to the dream in a series of cross-cuts.
